NNDC’s Sponsored Students Abandoned Abroad

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has abandoned about 168 students awarded the 2016 Scholarship has been stranded abroad.

 

SaharaReporters reports that NDDC has failed to fulfill the pledge made to the students in October 2016 which includes payment of tuition fee, traveling and living expenses.

 

One of the students that spoke with Sahara Reporters said that eight months after the pledge, not a dime has been paid by NDDC.
