Star Actress In ‘Critical Evidence’, Roseline Ngidi Recounts Experience On Set

The lead actress in one of Nollywood’s blockbusters,’ Critical Evidence’, Roseline Ngidi has recounted her experience on the set of the movie been marketed by Integrity Production Limited.


Roseline, who spoke with the magazine, revealed that it was the hands of fate that got her the enviable role she played in the movie.


The graduate of Business Administration, Ekiti State University, Ado – Ekiti, stated, “It was fate that brought me this far. I had no link with anyone in the movie industry before that unforgettable day a friend asked that I see him to a movie location.


“It actually happened like a miracle.

“I was at home on that faithful day and he called me to get dressed, that I should accompany him somewhere. Unknown to me, it was a movie location. When I got there he introduced me to the director of the movie and that was how the journey started. Not that he asked the director to offer me a role but he did the introduction for the sake of courtesy.

“That was how I got the lead female role in the film, ‘Critical Evidence’ and became an actress, one thing I never planned for, that soon. It was the Executive Producer that saw me and said he wanted me to be part of the production. Surprisingly, he said I am what he wanted for the female lead role. Since that day it has been roller-coaster for me; I have acted in so many movies because of what transpired that day.”

Roseline said that she started acting in her primary school days and took it further to the level of participating in performances at the church.


“I started acting in my school days, in the primary school and did a lot of the church appearances. But I did it better at the university. Now, I am taking it to higher grounds, “she confessed and added, “I wouldn’t say that the role wasn’t a difficult one. It was, but I got the support of all the stars in the movie. I mean the likes of Odunlade Adekola, Funsho Adeolu, Damola Olatunji, Ayo Olaiya and many others. They were of immense help to me on the job.”


She was also on the cast of Ota Ikoko (Secret Enemy), Mahuru, Ise Ewu, Olamidun, Oyeku, Aiye Shina Rambo and Ayelabowo among others.
