Fayose, Amaechi Fight Over Ownership Seized Ikoyi Loot Building

Through their media representatives, Mr. David Iyofor, a media aide to the Minister of Transport and former Governor of Rivers state, Rotimi Amaechi and Lere Olayinka, a media aide to the Ekiti state Governor, Ayodele Fayose,  Amaechi and Fayose are in a war of words over the true ownership of the Ikoyi property where over N5billion was recovered by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Wednesday, in Lagos.

The first salvo was thrown by Fayose who claimed that the house belonged to the Minister.

In a swift response, Amaechi through his aide has debunked the story, claiming to take Fayose to court if he refused to retract his allegations.

The Vanguard writes that, according to Olayinka, “The Osborne Towers, a luxury residential complex in Ikoyi, Lagos where EFCC said it found $43,449,947, £27,800 and N23, 218,000 on Wednesday is owned by the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.”
