Nigeria movie thespian, Uche Elendu has promised to take up the Cross and go to the streets to preach the gospel of Christ Jesus.
The beautiful Nollywood screen goddess who spoke to Bobnews.com at the premiere of her latest movie, “The Altar” on Sunday 26th of February, 2017 outside the auditorium of the Global Champions Ministries International, Okota in Lagos quipped that the desire and calling to become an evangelist for Christ is inborn in her.

She stated, “I actually have the calling but would be starting with production of movies. I do sing in the church, too. That is here I started from, in the church. I have always been with the choir. I believe that one day I would be a preacher of the Word of God. I am ready to answer to the calling of God in my life. That would be very soon. My love for God would drive me to that place.”
If this comes true, Uche may not be the first of Nigerian actors to accept the call of God while practicing their acting trade.
One of the most recent conversions was that of popular actress, Mama G, real names, Patience Ozokwor. The ace movie star is now almost a full time evangelist and has taken her preaching to the nooks and crannies of Nigeria, doing her thing in the streets.
