TOYIN AIMAKHU SUFFERS “EMBARRASSMENT SYNDROME”, HIDES HER FACE IN HER HANDS

The result of the media blitz and public outcry that followed her controversial participation in the #SaveMayowa Campaign has rendered star actress, Toyin Aimakhu incapacitated.

Exclusive reports  made available to E24-7 Magazine’s Correspondent, Emmanuel Omene-Johnson, by a close associate of the depressed actress, states that the sultry thespian, has not regain her composure since her fall out with the general public and the press as regards as her involvement in the case of the cancer stricken Mayowa Shukura Ahmed.

“As I speak with you, Toyin is practically sick. She has not been her self since that day people started calling her names. She can’t even eat or go about her normally daily activities. She is full of shame and regret, “the source declared.

Mayowa was reported to be suffering from a terminal stage-four degree cancer, which prompted Toyin Aimakhu to solicit donations from well-meaning Nigerians in order to offset her huge medical bills.

Aimaku and the Founder, Lifestake Foundation, Aramide Kasumu, were the parties involved in the melodrama. About N30m was gotten in the three days it lasted.

But Toyin was said to have raised an alarm when she discovered that the family of the 29-year-old sick lady wanted the money for their personal interest and as for such, the campaign a scam. It was that action which made her become a center of untoward controversy and embarrassment.

Nevertheless, while it was not too clear as of family’s real purpose of the campaign she had spear headed, evidences emerge later that Mayowa was really a sick person in need.

Toyin, who called in the media and the police as to her findings when she could not gain access to Mayowa, elicited the anger of sections of the media and public who thought her describing the campaign a fraud was too harsh, rash and a disservice to humanity. Subsequently, Toyin, got more than she bargained for, in terms of public outcry, calling her names and describing her actions of evil and clandestine.
