HUMPHREY OKOH, VICTOR IMEVBORE, JEFF NNAMANI,BELLE FC EXPRESSES LOVE FOR FOOTBALL, CHARITY

For corporate players in the Nigerian business world, the names, Humphrey Okoh, Victor Imievbore, Jeff Nnamani and Seyi Abe, ring a bell. Many see them as technocrats, while some see them as privileged individuals.

However it is certain that they contribute in no small measures to the business dealings and development of the Nigerian economy.  But their achievements as corporate players is not what this write up is all about,  but the unveiling of their huge love for football and charity. These are what keep them together.

According to our source, these gentlemen gather every Saturday at Nigerian Customs premises, Ikeja, to sweat it out on the field of play as they enjoy the game of football, after which they gather for lunch and drinks as they take time to see how they can help the needy around them.

Recently, Belle United FC, as they are fondly called turned 20 and the body remembered the sick at the Lagos State Teaching Hospital by making donations of cash and bedding to the hospital.

“It is not just donations to the hospital, as a matter of fact; members, who have the means, try as much as possible, to help even the youths that come around.  Hence, the reason we have associate members to look after. We do that by helping the needy with jobs and essential education.

Belle actually grassed this football pitch you see here; and we have rejuvenated the sporting culture among these officers as they come out to join us and play. So, it is not just football and fun, we also remember people that need help, and that is key to these our joy,” our source concluded.
